Here is a perfect treat for you, both if you are a little hungry and crave something sweet and energizing or if you are searching for a good in between meal idea that picks up your energy. Something that both is sweet and satisfying. I have not met a person yet that does not love this drink 😉 I have even served this drink as a desert after a healthy dinner to my guests.
- ½ avocado
- 1-2 tsp instant coffee (how strong do you want your coffee)
- 1 tsp lucuma* (optional)
- 3 tbsp crème coconut
- 1 glass almond milk with vanilla (or 50/50 almond milk and water)
- 1-2 tsp maple syrup (how sweet are you)
- 3-5 drops stevia with w/English toffee
- 3-6 ice-cubes (depending on the size – you don’t want to overdo the ice)
Mix everything in a blender and VOILA – WELCOME TO HEAVEN <3
*Lucuma – known as the ”GOLD of the Incas”, is a fruit FILLED with antioxidants. It has a delicious sweet taste that reminds me a little about caramel and I loooove the taste of caramel. I both use Lucuma because of its delicious taste, but also for all the health benefits that it brings. Lucuma is for example high in iron which increases energy levels, high in minerals like zinc and calcium that so many people lack today, but are very important to maintain a healthy body and high in vitamin B3 which releases energy into the cells and can lower cholesterol levels. It is also high in fiber which aids the digestion and helps the body to get rid of toxins and has an anti-inflammatory effect. I have also heard it does wonders for the skin. With a taste of caramel and makes your skin glow – who can say no to that?
OKAY I GET IT, YOU ARE NOT A COFFEE DRINKER – I believe you will still love this drink. If not, you can make few adjustments, instead of the instant coffee use cacao, cinnamon, banana or pure vanilla.
